L'Intrepid, the Walking Doll

L'Intrepid is approximately 19 inches tall on a reproduction French latex composition body that is designed to allow the doll to "walk". The socket head is poured in Seeley's Lady White porcelain, and the skin tones are painted matching the antique doll as closely as possible.  She has James Hand Glass Craft hand blown glass eyes, imported from England.  Her beautiful dark brown hair is of synthetic mohair, beautiful and durable.  She has an authentic cork pate.  This doll is out of Evelyn's private collection.  

Her costume is of fine quality silk and cotton laces, with her underwear of fine batiste and French Val laces, sewn in the Heirloom Sewing fashion, and consists of a dress, slip and pantalets, and a complimenting hat.  Her socks are knitted cotton.  Her shoes are of French design, with the uppers being made of the same silk as the dress, with leather soles.  Her beaded purse is hand knitted on a silver colored frame.

She comes complete with a wooden stand, Certificate of Authenticity,  and the Resume of the artist, Evelyn Stanbury, GMDM.

She is poseable on her composition walking body.
