Bruder Argerlich (Brother Angry) is
19 inches tall on a composition body
with porcelain head. The head is poured in Seeley's Lady White porcelain, and
then the skin tone is applied in china paint. This doll is a reproduction of
an antique porcelain doll originally created by the Gebruder Heubach porcelain
factory circa 1910 +/-. This is a larger version of Brother Angry.
His costume is
made of a fine brown wool. He has underwear, a shirt, shoes and socks as
well as his two piece suit and hat. This costume was made by
Frances Piovesan, one of the finest doll costumers in Canada. He comes complete with a Brief written history of
the Gebruder Heubach Company, Certificate of Authenticity and full resume of
Evelyn Stanbury, GMDM, International Award Winning Artist.
He is poseable on his 5 piece reproduction composition baby
body.
This doll is SOLD.
As his costume was one of a kind, he cannot be reproduced exactly as
he is, but another costume can be made similar in detail to this one.
