ORIENTAL BRU JNE 7 EYE DOT, NOSE AND LIP DETAIL PHOTOS

PAINTING NOTES: The mouth and nose dots are painted in two separate firings. The first firing lays out the "pattern" or shape of the area, and the second firing provides the shape and depth of the mouth and nostrils. She has a very definitely darker shading line between the lips. This is done in the second firing. The accent lines are also painted in the second firing. The shading is blended out, disappearing before reaching the outer edges of the lips.
With the nose dots, be careful to keep the application of color light. If it gets too heavy, then you end up with very shiny dots, which you definitely do not want.
